Donor Privacy Policy

The Gamma Mu Foundation is committed to respecting the privacy of our donors.  This policy ensures our donors that their private information will not be shared with any third party.  The information of all our donors will be kept confidential.  We collect and maintain the following types of donor information when it is voluntarily provided to us:

 

• Contact information such as name, physical address, phone numbers, email addresses;
• Information on donations made – when and how much;
• Information provided by the donor in terms of comments and suggestions;
• Payment information such as credit card number, expiration date, and billing address.

 

The Foundation uses your information to complete transactions, communicate back to you, or send emails directly related to upcoming events and newsletters.

The Gamma Mu Foundation will not sell to or exchange your personal information with any other organizations.

Donor information may be used for trend analysis and/or budget projections.  In addition, information may be shared with Board Members on a confidential and need-to-know basis.  Donors may exclude their name from any donor lists, or you can request to be listed as anonymous.

Credit card numbers are used only for one-time donation or pledge payment processing and are not retained for other purposes.
