Who We Are
Donor Community
The Gamma Mu Foundation, founded in 1988 by members of the Gamma Mu Social Fraternity, is a unique community of donors and volunteers with over 30 years of pooling charitable contributions to support LGBTQ+ communities in rural and underserved areas. Through grants and scholarships, we combat isolation, foster connections, address HIV prevention, and promote educational and professional opportunities, advancing inclusivity and equality.

The Gamma Mu Foundation is committed to advancing the well-being and empowerment of the LGBTQ+ community. Its grants program funds local organizations that deliver crucial services, including community support, public education, research, and HIV and health initiatives, all aimed at fostering empowerment and inclusivity. The Foundation also awards scholarships for higher education and vocational training, with a focus on LGBTQ+ individuals who demonstrate financial need and a strong commitment to community engagement. Through these efforts, the Gamma Mu Foundation works to build a healthier, more equitable, and inclusive society for all.
